Strutt Your Mutt a fun walk in the park

For the most fun you may have walking the dog, join the 2017 Jacksonville Strutt Your Mutt   event on Saturday, Sept. 30,
at  Riverside Park, 819 Park St., Jacksonville.
Registration is at  8 a.m.; walk from  9 a.m. to noon.

Cost is adults, $15; youth, $10, SYM Day, $15, on-site, $20. Folks in the Jacksonville really came together for homeless pets at the 2016 Strut Your Mutt, raising more than $100,000 for the animals. To help, visit http://support.bestfriends.org/.

Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt is an annual fundraising event that brings together four- and two-legged participants of all ages to raise money toward saving the lives of homeless pets. Just choose your favorite participating local animal welfare group when you register  and raise money to support their efforts. Strut Your Mutt is a fun-filled festival, including activities such as doggie yoga, pet portraits, music, contests and more.
