Social event mixes plants and cocktails

Rediscover the   joys of playing in the dirt as attendees create an herb garden during Plant Nite on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 7 p.m. at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza (Riverside),
Unity Plaza,
220 Riverside Ave., Jacksonville.

With a cocktail in one hand and a blooming plant in the other, attendees can share   the Plant Nite social experience with relaxation, fun and gardening.
Planting supplies are provided: a solid container, soil, plants, rocks, decorative elements, smock, music, and a good time. Gather your family and friends and create your very own mini garden group. If you bring a large group, please arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to start time to secure seating with your friends and allow time to order drinks before the event begins.
