A free Thanksgiving community lunch will be held for anyone who is hungry on Thursday, Nov. 23, noon to 2 p.m., at the Salvation Army Towers Center of Hope,
900 W. Adams St., Jacksonville.

A holiday Kettle Throwdown fund collection competition will be held Friday, Nov. 24 at the Publix at Town Center and at Roosevelt Square, Jacksonville.
