The 31st annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony event will take place
Friday, Nov.  24, 7 p.m. to midnight at Jacksonville Landing, 2 Independent Drive, Jacksonville.

Kick off the holiday season with your friends and family the day after Thanksgiving as the 56-foot-tall energy-efficient Christmas tree, with more than 240 ornaments and more than 78,000 L.E.D. lights will light up downtown during this annual ceremony.

The evening will conclude with a fireworks display on the St. Johns River. The Courtyard at The Landing will be standing-room-only for the Tree Lighting Ceremony; the public is asked not to bring chairs.
